legendary ski terrain

Verbier is at the heart of Les 4 Vallees, the largest ski area in Switzerland, with 100 lifts and over 400km of pistes. But that is just the beginning - the area in and around Verbier makes for a massive playground catering to everyone from the consummate beginner to the pro who only wakes up in no fall zones. The piste map shown is just the Verbier section of Les 4 Vallees. See the latest Verbier snow forecast here or here, the avalanche report here, and the current Verbier skiing conditions here.

Quality mountain Restaurants are everywhere in Les 4 Vallees, with several in the Verbier area. Marlenaz (pictured below) is an ideal stop while off piste skiing in untracked snow on the way home. On the other side of Verbier, Chez Dany is a perennial favourite, as is La Marmotte in between. On the mountain, the Cabane du Mont Fort is a must visit, while Le Dahu never disappoints. All offer delicious local fare together with the best Swiss wines in a truly remarkable atmosphere. Some are also open for dinner, leading to highly eventful sledge rides afterwards.
