The Best Restaurants in Verbier — Our Picks

Verbier punches well above its weight for a mountain village. The dining scene ranges from traditional Swiss mountain huts to genuine fine dining, and after a week you'll find you've barely scratched the surface. These are the places we recommend to guests at Chalet la Vigne.

La Table d'Adrien

Verbier's only Michelin-starred restaurant, La Table d'Adrien is helmed by Chef Sebastiano Lombardi, whose Italian-inspired tasting menus are as much about experience as they are about food. Adjacent to the Savoleyres lift, it's the natural choice for a special evening. Book well in advance.

67 Pall Mall

For serious wine lovers, 67 Pall Mall's Verbier outpost brings the same exceptional list and atmosphere as the London original to the Alps. A natural fit for guests of Chalet la Vigne.

The Shed

One of Verbier's most popular evening spots and a firm favourite with guests. The Shed does what it does consistently well — great burgers, good atmosphere, and the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned. Walk in.

Fer à Cheval

A Verbier institution. Central, lively, with a sun-trap terrace that makes it the natural choice for continuing après ski into the evening. The food is solid and the atmosphere reliably excellent — this is where locals and visitors mix comfortably. You know what you're going to get at Fer à Cheval, and that's precisely why people keep going back. Sells the coolest antler bottle openers engraved with Fer à Cheval.

La Terrasse Blonde

A welcome addition to Verbier's dining scene. This Scandi-inspired restaurant sits right on Place Centrale with a thoughtfully composed menu and a wine list that rewards exploration. Clean, considered and a little different from the alpine norm.

Le Rouge

One of Verbier's most celebrated spots, Le Rouge is a great place for après ski, and it’s very happening at dinner. The outdoor terrace, DJ sets and relaxed atmosphere make it quite the scene. A Verbier classic that rarely disappoints.

La Marmotte

On the sunny slopes of Savoleyres, La Marmotte is one of the great on-mountain lunch stops in Verbier. The terrace has a superb view across the valley and the traditional Swiss menu — fondue, raclette, rösti — is exactly what you want after a morning on the mountain. It also sits on the ski home route to Chalet la Vigne, making it a natural and very civilised final stop of the day.

La Marlénaz

Perched above the resort with sweeping views across Verbier, La Marlénaz is an authentic mountain escape — simple, flavourful and unhurried. Traditional Swiss dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, a spectacular setting, and an atmosphere that feels genuinely removed from the bustle below.

Also worth knowing:

Chez Dany — hidden amongst the trees, accessible by skiing the Clambin itinerary or on foot. One of the most characterful spots on the mountain, loved by locals for over 45 years.

Staying in Verbier? Chalet la Vigne is a luxury ski chalet available for weekly rental, with direct access to the 4 Vallées ski area.
